But since I've been so bad about posting here, I wanted to share a few links that I liked.
Letter writing, pens and paper:
- South Coast Plaza (in Orange county, CA) recently held a letter writing campaign for our troops in Iraq. They collected an impressive 507 letters. When my daughter held her letter writing event to gather thank you letters for our troops as her senior project in high school, we would have been thrilled to collect 100 letters.
- I'm not a fan of Twitter so I really enjoyed this article, "The Twidiocracy: the decline of Western civilization, 140 characters at a time" over at The Weekly Standard. Die-hard Twitterers may not appreciate it very much though, so be warned. And those who don't Twit (or whatever it's called) will get several good laughs.
- The Pen Addict posted these great links to "BEGIN Japanology - Stationery" that all pen and stationery lovers should enjoy.
