Valedictions/Closures: There's a good list of ways to end your letter at HubPages and Got the Know How. Here are just a few of my favorites they listed along with some old standby's and a few of the newer ones I've seen correspondent's use:
As Always, With affection,
Best regards, Kind regards,
Yours 'til the cat meows,
Hugs and pogo sticks,
Catch you on the next bounce,
Sincerely, Sincerely yours,
Rock on, Snail mail rocks,
Best regards, Kind regards, Best wishes,
Toodles, Ta ta for now,
****** A Month of Letters *******
The Challenge: write 23 letters (one for every mail day) in the month of February 2013.
I love snail mail & good mail days =D
and this is definitely my favorite book on the subject of mail art: Good Mail Day by Jennie Hinchcliff and Carolee G. Wheeler.
Our Letter Writing club - We started off meeting in a Church / Elementary but with the nicer weather in the spring and summer, we started meeting in various local parks. And we usually get together on the last Thursday of the month now. With our rainy season quickly approaching, I'm not sure where we'll meet. --------- This letter writing resources handout is from our very first Write to Delight event (which was actually for my daughter's high school senior project): Write to Delight letter writing handout (2-sided)
